Bonus Finder’s ranking method considers 10 factors to calculate its score. Factors include average price for a meal for two, average price for movie tickets for two. And per 10,000 people, Bonus Finder also factors the number of romantic restaurants, number of cafes, bakeries, and dessert shops, number of bars and pubs, number of fun date night activities and games, number of couple-friendly attractions, number of romantic hotels, and, finally, number of spas. 

Of the 10 scoring factors, Sarasota scored in the top-ten across seven of them, getting a final score of 87.7 out of 100. In a distant second place is Atlantic City, which got a score of 79.5 out of 100.
