Luxury development group Kolter Urban proposes redeveloping the Hyatt Regency hotel at 1000 Boulevard of the Arts in Sarasota, Florida. If approved, the redevelopment would replace the existing building with two 18-story towers above a shared podium building.

Designed by SB Architects, the mixed-purpose towers include 224 condominiums, 174 hotel rooms, a 6,610-square-foot ballroom, and 8,830 square feet of commercial space. Approximately 49 parking spaces would be located within the adjacent Beau Ciel condominiums.

Kolter Urban’s development philosophy

In addition to the Hyatt Regency project, Kolter Urban has two development ventures underway in the bay area. Art House, a 244-unit luxury condominium tower in downtown St. Pete, recently hit a construction milestone, topping out at 450 feet (42 stories), and the curvaceous One Tampa, a 42-story luxury tower, is under development in downtown Tampa.

Kolter Urban describes its development philosophy as “Committed to Creating Better Communities, the company brings over 20 years of innovative residential development to each new endeavor.”

“Kolter Urban recognizes that with each new home sale, there is an inherent commitment to deliver not just a quality residence, but a unique, amenity-rich lifestyle. With that in mind, the company strives to deliver the most sought-after, energy-efficient designs, complete with the best finishes and amenities.”
