For a true Floridian New Year, there’s no better place to count down to 2025 than the gorgeous, white sand beaches of Venice and Sarasota. This year, Sharky’s at the Pier (1600 Harbor Drive South, Venice) will herald 2025 with electric music performances from Scarlet Drive and a massive fireworks display set before Venice’s iconic fishing pier.
Doors open for the event at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Scarlet Drive will perform live at 8 p.m., offering guests a diverse mix of upbeat pop, rock, country and dance music. The height of the beach bash comes at midnight, when a massive fireworks display will bloom in the sky, exploding right over the pier.
Tickets for general admission are priced at $30 until Dec. 20. After Dec. 20, ticket price will increase to $40. Purchase tickets for Sharky’s New Year’s Eve Beach Bash here. Food will be available at Sharky’s Snack Shack food truck, and multiple bars will be set up to ensure you have something cold and delicious to cheer for the New Year.
Sharky’s readies to debut new renovations
Sharky’s, known for its delicious seafood and frozen island-style drinks, is Venice’s quintessential beach bar. Boasting gorgeous views and white sand (fine as talcum powder), Sharky’s is the place to lay back and let the day pass imbibing drinks as colored as the sunsets. And now they are about ready to debut their upgrades.
Sharky’s is putting on the finishing touches after undergoing an extensive redesign and renovation. They have done major work to their kitchen, tiki bar, patio and interior design, enhancing their services and the guest experience. The Beach Bash party is the ultimate way to sneak a peek of the new digs.
While Sharky’s has not yet announced an exact date, the renovations are nearing completion according to a recent social media post. Follow Sharky’s on Instagram for updates.
