Located at 1526 Main Street, Lila (pronounced lee-lah), meaning creative play, offers casual dining with a rustic vibe. Though the menu is anything but casual, it’s spontaneous. Chef proprietors Ryan Boeve and Arthur Lopes devised a locally sourced, mostly vegetarian and vegan menu that embodies playfulness.

“The concept of this restaurant is to offer food the way we like to eat. Lila focuses on healthy, organic vegetable-centric menu items…” says Lila’s website. “Ingredients are of the highest quality, simple, straightforward and clean. We use good cooking oils, sprouted grains, and alternative flours. Even our wine list supports small farm producers who use organic and biodynamic farming practices.”

Start your meal with playful shareable plates like the Artichoke Hearts of Palm Crab Cakes, dressed with wasabi tartar sauce and parsley, or the Kokuho Rose Rice Tots, served with spicy mayo, dragon sauce, scallions, and sesame seeds. In addition, we highly recommend ordering a few vegan sushi rolls.

Diverse entrees like the Burmese Noodle Bowl, Penne Alla Vodka, and Mushroom Burger are mouthwatering must-tries. In addition to meat and seafood options, diners may add protein to any plate or side, and there are many options to choose from: Verlasso salmon, organic chicken breast, grass-fed beef tenderloin, Gulf shrimp, and much more. Check out the complete lunch, dinner, and wine menus here.
