Located off vibrant Main Street in downtown Sarasota, Green Zebra Cafe (1377 Main St.) was awarded Best of Sarasota by SRQ Magazine in 2022. It won in multiple categories: breakfast, brunch, lunch, dessert, vegan and juice. Driving these accolades is a menu accommodating all dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, as well as meat and seafood options. The hours are 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday–Saturday, and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Meticulously plated dishes
At Green Zebra, the food is as pleasing to the palate as the eye. The chefs meticulously plate each dish, giving diners an aesthetic experience akin to fine dining. As for the food, Green Zebra excels at whipping up nutritious takes on foodie favs. For brunch, try their popular raw pancake. For dinner, we recommend savory signatures like the artichoke bouillabaisse made with lion’s mane, maitake, shiitake, oyster mushroom, bean gigante, banana blossom, stinging nettle, kombu, tomato, saffron, orange zest and rouille toast. Half-off for ladies every Thursday
Every Thursday is ladies’ night at Green Zebra. Ladies’ night offers half-off cocktails, wine and select specialty dishes. Live musical entertainment is performed every Thursday as well. The stellar half-off deal combined with the music makes this cafe the perfect spot to relax and unwind at the end of a busy workweek.
Green Zebra Cafe has a second location in St. Armands Circle. The St. Armands location is only accepting take-out orders until they recover from hurricane damage.
