Sharky’s On the Pier
Sharkey’s at the Pier (1600 Harbor Drive South, Venice) will herald 2025 with electric music performances from Scarlet Drive and a massive fireworks display set before Venice’s iconic fishing pier. Doors open for the event at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Scarlet Drive will perform live at 8 p.m., offering guests a diverse mix of upbeat pop, rock, country and dance music. The height of the beach bash comes at midnight, when a massive fireworks display will bloom in the sky, exploding right over the pier. Tickets available here.
Sarasota Bay
Presented by Marina Jack’s (2 Marina Plaza) Sarasota Bay’s fireworks display is the quintessential New Year’s tradition. The show will begin promptly at midnight, running from 12:00 to 12:30 am. For the best viewing, reserve a space in the main dining room or the Deep Six Lounge at Marina Jack. For more information on reservations visit Marina Jack’s website. Alternately, Bay Front Park (5 Bay Front Dr.) offers stunning views of the bay and the fireworks display.
University Town Center
Ring in 2025 at UTC’s New Year’s Eve on The Green on December 31 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Celebrate with spectacular live entertainment, a DJ, food, face painting, and a countdown to a 9:00 pm fireworks show. The family-friendly event is free and happening on The Green at UTC (125 N. Cattleman Rd.), located near Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar.
Fisherman’s Village
Make your New Year a little day trip by traveling an hour south to Fisherman’s Village (1200 W. Retta Esplanade). For the New Year, Fisherman’s Village will host a family-friendly event that runs from 6 pm to midnight on December 31st. Hundreds join the celebration and groove on the dance floor at Center Court until the clock strikes midnight. Enjoy fun family activities and live music featuring the Shane Duncan Band on the Beach, DJ Michael White at Center Court, a photo booth, tarot card reading, face painting, T’s Fairy Fragments, and more. Plus, a fireworks display begins at midnight.
