Whether it’s Jim Carrey’s unforgettable performance as the Grinch, Will Farrell’s silly portrayal of an oversized Elf, or Macaulay Culkin thwarting thieves in Home Alone, nothing quite steeps you in the holidays like binge-watching your favorite Christmas movies.
In that spirit, UTC Sarasota is hosting Holiday Movies Under The Stars every Friday and Saturday until January 4 at the outdoor theater in the West District (210 N Cattlemen Rd.), near Ford’s Garage. The free, family-friendly event begins at 7 p.m., featuring a new movie each day over the month. The movie lineup and location are listed below.

The outdoor theater is located in the West District at UTC Sarasota, in the lot near Ford’s Garage. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Families and friends are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and early arrival is suggested.
Lace up your ice skates at the rink
After the movie, cap your holiday experience at UTC by lacing up your ice skates. The ice skating rink is near the movie screening area in the West District at UTC, right next to Ford’s Garage.
